No Juve deal for Tasci

Juventus have not reached an agreement to sign Serdar Tasci in January, the player’s agent has insisted.

Reports over recent times have linked the Stuttgart defender with a new year move to the Old Lady of Italian football.

However, Maurizio Gaudino has told that he hasn’t spoken to anyone in Turin since last summer.

“There is no truth in the stories,” Gaudino noted. “It’s all speculation that perhaps come from what happened in the summer.

“There was something with Juventus, even in the latter stages of the transfer window. But there was no chance of a move as Stuttgart didn’t want to lose him.

“From then on I have not had any contact with Juventus. Serdar is only thinking about finding his best form, physical and mental, and he is working towards this.”

Juve are expected to bring in some defensive reinforcements during January given their rearguard problems so far this term.

Serdar, born in April 1987, is a German international.
