Angelo Di Livio is impressed with how former club Juventus are progressing after their mass summer changes.

The club was overhauled at the end of last season following a disastrous seventh-place finish in Serie A.

New President Andrea Agnelli hired Coach Gigi Del Neri, while freshly appointed director general Beppe Marotta revolutionised the playing staff.

“Juventus are growing,” the former Italian international, who played for Juventus under Giovanni Trapattoni and Marcello Lippi, told TMW.

“They have everything in place that is needed to do well. They have a good Coach and the club behind him are proving to be serious.”

Juve travel to Bologna this weekend hoping to add three more points after the 4-0 destruction of Lecce.

“I’m looking for Juve to confirm themselves, to give a bit of continuity to their results,” added the former winger.

Di Livio also highlighted the performances of Felipe Melo, who has sparkled so far after a disastrous debut campaign in Turin.

“He’s doing very well,” Di Livio added. “Del Neri deserves credit for that, as does the player who is showing that he is growing and maturing.”
