Juve suffer Grygera blow

Juventus fear that Zdenek Grygera could be out for up to a month after picking up an injury in the Europa League last night.

The Czech international was replaced on 79 minutes by Marco Motta following a high tackle during the 1-1 draw at Salzburg.

Although the player will undergo tests today, it is believed that he could be sidelined for up to four weeks with a badly twisted right knee.

Grygera’s absence will be a big blow to boss Gigi Del Neri who has his problems at right-back.

Motta has proved inconsistent since his loan move from Udinese, while Leandro Rinaudo – who has also been used in that role – is on the treatment table too.

Grygera, signed from Ajax, has been used as a left-back at times so far during this campaign as well given the club’s lack of options in that position.
