Giorgio Chiellini wants Juventus to make fewer errors when they meet Salzburg in the Europa League this evening.

The 26-year-old is keen to keep Juventus’ concentration levels high after a run of four games without defeat.

“We are improving in defence,” Chiellini said. “We feel more secure and the good performances against Manchester City and Inter comfort us.

“It has taken time to understand the movements and to get to know each other seeing that there were many new signings.

“We always make some mistakes, but now the level is more than acceptable and we have taken the right path.”

When asked about Juventus’ supporters, Chiellini said: “Their enthusiasm is contagious and gives us an extra spring in our step.

“They were very precious after the defeat to Palermo, which was the most delicate moment of the season.

“Now it’s up to us to continue to feed the fans’ enthusiasm.”
