Juventus’ jokey war of words with Sampdoria has continued ahead of this weekend’s match in Turin.
The two clubs have become intense rivals after Gigi Del Neri and Beppe Marotta both defected in the summer.
Yesterday, Sampdoria President Riccardo Garrone said it would be tough to forgive Marotta for leaving Marassi.
The fallout spilled on to the pitch although in a jokey fashion with Giorgio Chiellini claiming he should have given Antonio Cassano a kick while on international duty.
Cassano replied by telling Juventus that it’s up to them to get a result.
Tuttosport understands that Juventus’ goalkeeping coach Claudio Filippi has also been engaging in some pop psychology.
He was seen taking shots at Marco Storari, shouting: “This is Pazzini’s shot” and “Keep an eye out in case Cassano steals the ball.”
