Juve rule out more signings

Juventus director general Beppe Marotta has ruled out making any more signings in the transfer window.

The Bianconeri had been in talks with Milan for Marco Borriello and Kakha Kaladze.

However, both deals fell threw, as Borriello would only accept a permanent move and Kaladze ended up joining Genoa instead.

“The Borriello deal was like many others in that we could only sign him on a temporary basis so we did not pursue it,” Marotta said.

When asked if Juventus would make another attempt to bring someone else in between now and the transfer deadline, Marotta simply said: “Our market is closed.”

Juventus have been very busy on the recruitment front this summer, bringing in no fewer than eight players.
