The Azzurri tactician has also re-called three big absentees from the recent friendly against Ivory Coast…

With the international break on the horizon new Italy coach Cesare Prandelli recently named his Azzurri squad for the Euro 2012 qualifiers against Estonia and the Faroe Islands.

After overhauling the squad for the recent friendly against Ivory Coast, the former Fiorentina tactician has now opted for four further newcomers in the form of Luca Antonelli, Cesare Bovo, Lorenzo De Silvestri and Daniele Gastaldello.

Following injuries to Mario Balotelli and Amauri the coach was forced to leave out two of his major introductions present on his debut on the Italy bench. Despite the absentees, Andrea Pirlo, Alberto Gilardino and Giampaolo Pazzini have all been recalled after they missed out through injury back in early August.

According to  SkySport24 the squad will converge on the Azzurri’s Coverciano base on August 30, at 12.30 local time. The side will then make the trip to Estonia on Thursday in preparation for their opening Euro 2012 qualifier.
