Del Neri wanted good impression

Juventus boss Gigi Del Neri said it was important that his team made a good impression in the Berlusconi Trophy last night.
The Bianconeri came away with a meaningless piece of silverware after overcoming Milan 5-4 on penalties following a 0-0 draw in normal time.
Speaking to the Juventus Channel after the game at San Siro, Del Neri said: “It was a tough game, we made very hard work of it, but anyway both Milan and ourselves gave a good spectacle.
“We cared about making a good impression and we are happy to have won this trophy.
“Juventus are working, making progress. We have played a careful game against an important team.
“Now we are thinking about the cup, then the League, which will be very tough because opponents always face Juve with the maximum commitment,” Del Neri concluded.
