Gigi Del Neri welcomes Milos Krasic to Juventus and looks ahead to tomorrow’s Trofeo Berlusconi against Milan.
“He is a quality player who can also bring us experience,” he said of the new €15m signing from CSKA Moscow.
“Therefore he is important for us quite apart from the specific role he plays. Will he be on the right or the left wing? Our players must be able to play both positions.”
The Bianconeri have already started their official campaign in the Europa League and scraped a 2-1 victory away to Sturm Graz on Thursday.
Tomorrow evening they face off against Milan in the traditional summer tournament, the Trofeo Berlusconi.
“This is an important game against a great side who, like us, are preparing for the start of the Serie A season,” continued Del Neri.
“The result of this friendly is not the most important thing. I must give playing time to those who have not so far had that opportunity, such as David Trezeguet.
“I doubt he’s happy with the situation, because everyone wants to play regularly, but I am making different choices right now.
“In any case, with football things can change from one day to the next.”
