Diego has been included in the Juventus squad for this evening’s Trofeo TIM tournament despite his uncertain future.

The Brazilian is expected to leave the Old Lady before the start of the season after Wolfsburg and Schalke both made bids this week.

As a result, it was believed that Diego would be left out of the Bari triangular tournament against Milan and Inter to ensure he doesn’t pick up an injury.

However, boss Gigi Del Neri has included him in his 20-man squad even if it is unclear how much action he will see at the San Nicola.

Brazilian international Felipe Melo has also received his first call-up of the campaign after returning from his holiday.

There is no place in the group though for Mauro Camoranesi, Hasan Salihamidzic, Fabio Grosso and Tiago – all players who the club are trying to find new homes for.

Squad: 2 Motta, 3 Chiellini, 4 Felipe Melo, 5 Sissoko, 8 Marchisio, 10 Del Piero, 11 Amauri, 13 Manninger, 17 Trezeguet, 19 Bonucci, 20 Lanzafame, 21 Grygera, 23 Pepe, 25 Martinez, 28 Diego, 29 De Ceglie, 31 Costantino, 32 Storari, 33 Legrottaglie, 34 Ferrero.
