Juve prepare for Europa League

In their next friendly game against Lyon, Juventus are set to field seven of their regulars for 90 minutes in order to prepare for their Europa League debut.

The Bianconeri will face Shamrock Rovers in the Euro qualifier and will not be underestimating their rivals.

“I want to check on the shape of the team which will play in the Europa League,” said Gigi Del Neri.

“Seven of our regulars will play for 90 minutes.

“Leonardo Bonucci will be out, we won’t risk him just yet. The same goes for Sebastian Giovinco while the others will play at least 45 minutes against Lyon.

“To be honest it is better to travel to Ireland than Israel. We don’t really know Shamrock but will study their tapes.”

Del Neri also commented on Juve’s transfer market issues.

“If nothing happens we will keep our stars, we are working on this Juve for the future,” he claimed.

“I would love if this Juve followed the example of the team which had Marco Tardelli, Antonio Cabrini and Massimo Bonini.

“The Board picked a talented group of youngsters and then mixed it with the eagerness of Giovanni Trapattoni and it was a success.”
