A week after Catania said it was official, Jorge Martinez appears to have finally agreed to move to Juventus.
The 27-year-old Uruguayan winger met Juventus’ general manager Beppe Marotta in Milan this morning.
Tuttosport understands they agreed personal terms and now all that’s left is for him to do is complete a medical and sign a contract.
Catania administrator delegate Pietro Lo Monaco confirmed as much to Sky Italia this evening.
Reports suggest Martinez will cost Juventus €11m.
He will become Juventus’ second signing of the transfer window after Simone Pepe who arrived from Udinese.
