JUVENTUS (4-3-1-2)

Chimenti- 5.5: Made one good save in the first-half, and had no chance on two of the three goals, was a bit slow to react on Siena’s second as Maccarrone’s low shot curled onto the post.

Grygera- 4: Basically conceded the equaliser by bringing down Maccarone in the area with 15 minutes to go. Before that point was ineffective.

Cannavaro- 6: Made an error on Siena’s first by giving Maccarone too much space, but he saved a sure goal in the second-half with a crucial interception. Thus, we’ll award him an even score as he cancelled out his earlier mistake.

Legrottaglie- 6: Was removed due to injury early in the second-half and it was disappointing as he was much more assured in that centre-back position than Grygera.

De Ceglie- 5: Another disappointing show for the left-sided player and one wonders why Fabio Grosso was not included after his exploits last weekend instead.

Sissoko- 6.5:
As usual a lot of hard work in midfield and also willing to burst forward when necessary. Nullified the experienced Simone Vergassola for long portions of the match and Siena attacked on the flanks to avoid him.

Felipe Melo– 5.5: The Brazilian made a headed goal-line clearance in the first-half and always made himself available for team-mates.

Marchisio- 5: The 24-year-old did not have his best match, perhaps fatigued from the Europa League match in midweek. He was replaced by Mauro Camoranesi at half-time.

Candreva- 7.5: The inspired midfielder was given creative licence and repaid Zaccheroni by being involved in all three goals, creating two and scoring a splendid long range strike. Faded out in the second-half, but will have done his Azzurri chances no harm at all.

Del Piero- 7: The legendary captain reached a milestone by scoring the 300th goals of his career by reacting to slam home Trezeguet’s rebound before adding another with a clinical one-time during the first few minutes.

Trezeguet- 5.5: The former Monaco star scuffed two decent chances when a younger version of himself might have made more of them.

Camoranesi- 6:
Was the catalyst for some attacking moves in the second-half, but needed to be more involved in the match in the latter stages when Siena were making their comeback.

Salihamidzic- 5: Thrown on for the injured Legrottaglie and had little success down the flank.
