Juventus is preparing to play against Palermo in a match valid for the 7th match day of the second round of the championship. It will not be an easy match, seeing the excellent results obtained by the Sicilians who have 40 points (one less then the bianconeri), but who present a contrasting tendency between home and away matches. Palermo collected 31 points at the Barbera and only 9 in away matches resulting from 2 victories, 1 draw and 7 defeats. The goal difference is also evident: 22 goals scored at home and 13 away, 9 conceded at home in Sicily and 22 in away matches.

Away from Sicily, the rosanero’s march started with difficulties immediately. They in fact suffered two defeats in the first encounters with Fiorentina and Parma, followed by a 1-1 draw against Lazio and the first victory against Livorno by 2-1. They had then three consecutive defeats : 5-3 against Inter, 3-1 against Bologna and 1-0 against Chievo. The year 2009 ended with their greatest feat in the championship: 2-0 at the San Siro against Milan.

In 2010 Palermo collected 2 points in the first 2 matches against Sampdoria (1-1) and Napoli (0-0). Recently, they suffered resounding defeats in Bari (4-2) and against Roma (4-1).
