Gianluigi Buffon believes Juventus have truly turned a corner under Alberto Zaccheroni. “Something has changed.”

The Bianconeri were in dire straits when the Coach replaced Ciro Ferrara, but so far he has amassed two draws and two consecutive victories.

“The statistics tell us that something has changed. I saw it over the last few days in a very positive and constructive attitude from the team,” said Buffon.

Perhaps an even more reassuring fact is that in the last two games Juve have fought back to grab points against Genoa and Ajax.

“It is only normal that there was a reaction in the locker room with a change of management.

“Zaccheroni is giving us tactical organisation and some important tips, but if you don’t believe in yourself, then you’ll get nowhere,” continued the goalkeeper.

“Amauri hasn’t been this happy in a long time, he just needed the right ball on his head to break the drought.”

The Brazilian striker hadn’t netted since October 28 before bagging three in the last two matches.
