A report has claimed the Vinovo training centre is the cause of Juve’s injuries…

The Juventus training centre at Vinovo has caused 40 injuries in just half a season, according to Tuttosport.
A study carried out by the Turin-based daily in association with Arpa, an agency who monitor the environent in Piedmont, shows temperatures and humidity at Vinovo are higher than in Turin, where Juventus trained before 2006.

The report claims a 12 per cent rise in cold temperatures around Vinovo between December and January are the principal cause behind the injuries this term. Around 40 different muscular injuries have hampered the team because of the variation in climate there over the last six months.

The training pitch has also come under scrutiny with soft and hard surfaces contributing to more player injuries.

Juventus have not issued a comment in relation to the report’s findings.
