Juve’s morale is down, but ‘Alex’ urges his troops to resume their march in Serie A…

Juventus talisman Alessandro Del Piero has admitted the Bianconeri camp is struggling to come to terms with their umpteenth disappointing result after being held to a 1-1 home draw by Lazio last weekend.

Juve are without a win in Serie A in their last four outings and have fallen four points behind fourth-placed Napoli, who currently occupy the final Champions League berth.

“We were all very disappointed in the dressing room over our ‘missed’ victory against Lazio,” Del Piero writes on his official website.

“I would in fact call it a ‘missed’ victory as I think we deserved to get more out of it. We controlled proceedings for large spells of the game and we certainly had more chances than Lazio.

“Our disappointment is still very strong, but we must try to take the positives out of this clash to improve and rediscover our winning ways.”

Next up for Juve is a trip to relegation strugglers Livorno, who claimed a precious point away to Milan on Sunday.

“It won’t be easy as Livorno drew at San Siro,” mused Del Piero.

“But we must keep positive. Let’s not give up and let’s start climbing back up.”
