Juve plan for after Molinaro

Juventus are looking for a left-back capable of replacing Cristian Molinaro who left for Bundesliga side Stuttgart yesterday.

Italy international Fabio Grosso is Juventus’s first choice in the position, but the club feels he now needs a competitive back up.

Tuttosport understands the Bianconeri’s director of sport Alessio Secco has drawn up a shortlist of three names for the role.

They include Real Madrid’s Royston Drenthe [pictured], Fiorentina’s Manuel Pasqual and Genoa’s Domenico Criscito who Juventus part-own.

All deals are reportedly open with Drenthe’s bags already packed after failing to hold down his place at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Juventus have always admired Pasqual, although he signed a new deal with the Viola in the summer amid speculation that he would leave.

As for Criscito, there is apparently an open dialogue between the two clubs.
